slower than slow but that’s the nature of Bonanza. Sellers have to drive their own traffic to this venue….promote and advertise,..Bonanza no longer sends listings to Google Shopping without at least 9% advertising level

Hi RASVINYL,
No worries! We always send our seller’s listings to be advertising on Google shopping (and our other affiliates) unless you ask us not to.

We looked at your booth, and your items are being advertised!

Happy Bonanzling!

I recently joined this year and found out very quick that you have to make your listings available for Google Shopping. Direct sales are very rare. I don’t do any social media advertising at all but have almost 100 sales since mid May this year. Good luck!

Bonanza no longer sends listings to Google Shopping without at least 9% advertising level – years ago that was an automatic even for the free Basic booth, not so anymore…

farfan_entertainment says: August 23, 2016

First, like mrsvandy said, you need to set an advertising level of at least 9%. When you list an item there are basic Google Atributes [URL removed] UPC, MPN, BRAND and Condition. Not all items may have all atributes though.

ccmom says: August 23, 2016

it is not automatic anymore, because google shopping is no longer free…

gearseller2 says: August 24, 2016

CCMOM and others- this is the first I’ve heard that there are no more free submissions of items. Sure would be nice to be told these things either beforehand or whenit’s done. I still see posts on the advertising page that says items will still go to Google even if you don’t pay. Time to housekeep!

August 2012 EcommerceBytes Blog "Sellers currently pay Bonanza a 3.5% commission if their item sells. They can continue to do so with no change whatsoever. But with the new “ad program,” they can also choose to select a higher commission in order to get exposure on Google Shopping and/or on eBay."

June 2012 google started charging to be listed in GPS..that is when Bonz started the advertising program..if you want to have your items sent you had to agree to pay the ad fee if your item was purchased through google shopping…bonz pays, up front..you pay with fvf according to the ad % you select

I know what you mean. I’ve had my booth with 400 items for 6 months now and not even one inquiry, let alone sale. I’m looking into having a store website thru them also. Has anyone had experience with that? Do you have to have the website to sign up for google shopping direct?

don’t do the web store until the booth is established..if buyers are not seeing the booth in google, then they won’t see the store either…make sure your items are in google product search..

And it’s August- typically slow August-September. People are busy doing other things this time of year. Use the time to get your booth in tip top shape for season :-)

The key to selling on Bonanza is constant self promotion. Other things that help are having a variety of items listed, so the shop will appeal to a wider customer base & there will be more potential for sales. Competitive prices, prompt shipping & personalized service also go a long way. It does help to have a large inventory so keep adding items & growing it at your own pace, take advantage of the free listings & promote whenever possible social media can be helpful. You are dealing with less traffic here & a smaller customer base not built in like eBay or Amazon so it takes effort & dedication. Best of luck!

I do not see your listings in google..most do not even come up in organic searches..and when they do it is only the ebay listings…many are not google compliant..Should probably check your feed for errors
