I don’t understand why it’s 2-3 days, when It’s 2-5 days.
Why does it show this for my listings??

Because the shipping is connected to the USPS webtools and according to USPS site…
First-Class Mail
First-Class Mail® is a fast and affordable service for envelopes and packages weighing up to 13 oz. Delivery is in 2-3 business days. It’s perfect for personal correspondence, bills, and light merchandise.
and weekends and holidays do not count…as business days

We don’t add the shipping service, so our items don’t have those dates, unless it’s calculated shipping.

FC shipping was at one time considered a standard shipping method with a 2-5 shipping time. When USPS updated this past year, changing things with Priority and Priority express, they changed FC to 2-3 days…..
Most of my FC arrive in 3 days if I get to PO first thing in the morning…otherwise 4 days if I do not get there until after 3pm (the trucks at our only PO go out between early am and 3-5 pm, which means my package would not go out until until next morning for one I get to PO late in the afternoon..those show 4 day delivery)

That is strange, I’ve been on eBay for a very long time and it’s always shown as 2-5 days shipping.
And it will definitely take up to 5 days, most of the time.

It shows that way on mine also. So i just add that i ship in 2 days to compensate and give it a bit more time to get there, when actually I ship the next day.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
