Views showing up on listings?

Hello.

Can we no longer tell how many views a listing has received?

I used to see the number of views when I was looking at the listing itself… I know I had quite a few listings that did have views showing up but now there shows nothing for views.

Maybe when they changed the way the listing appears, the views went away.

It used to be near the top right side of our listings. For example, if someone was promoting my booth, the views would pick up or if I had a hot item the views would be good. Over a period of time, the views would add up until the item sold.

Does anyone see their number of views anymore?

it shows in mine at top, above the listing…in gray….when there are views…guess there was a re-set with the updates, because many do not have any…

Also anyone notice that with the updates…many of the listings lost their item traits and attributes…????

I have not looked but from time to time I do check in batch edit. Now I’m scared. That’s too bad…

I just realized one great thing now. So happy with this. When a shopper adds something to their wish list, a pop up window now longer pops up showing text for the buyer to email to see if the price of the listing will drop down. Yahoo!!1

at the bottom of the listing left hand side on my listings I [URL removed]
“Seller-only details

You are seeing this because you are logged in as the seller
[URL removed]

0 today; 0 yesterday "

I haven’t checked more than a dozen or so of my listings but I am assuming that no, the stats are no longer being shown, although 0 views is quite normal for my listings anyway…although I rarely ever checked the listing itself for any views because they were never accurate.
The only stats I go by are the ones from my advertising level page, since those are the only ones that actually mean anything and/or have any level of accuracy.

Hi Mrs. Dutch. I still see this part. But there used to be views that they’d show for over a period of time at the right left top of the listings. Like if someone is promoting the listing, then the views would pick up on that listing and show how many views. The number of views the listing got would

would stay there permanantly until the listings sold. I really like it. It told me a lot…and I could tell the item would sell eventually if it had high views…that or with high views and no sale, I knew I needed to drop the price some. Not a perfect science but it did help somewhat.

sorry. I should have been more clear. I will edit my post :)

I saw a typo in my first comment to you…period of time at the right top of the screen. Wish I could edit a comment.

I see the views on my items just above the title

Thank you, thank you.

I think the old method to display the view is good and importance. The number was in red and bigger size, it emphasis how the item can attach more viewers. It is good for promotion. Now I wondered why it changed so small, view may neglect it. I hope it can change back as before.

Ernest, I do not see it, either small or large. Where are you seeing it small? Not the 0 today; 0 yesterday at the bottom of our listings. But yes, I believe the color was red and larger, upper right corner on the listing.

i just checked 8 of my listings and only 1 showed the number of recent views in black just above and to the left the title of my item

mrsdutch1001 says: January 23, 2018

out of the dozen listings I checked, only 1 showed the number of “recent views” at the top of the listing and it is the most viewed listing at the moment.

EmpressDepot says: January 23, 2018

Do you have the link for your listing that shows the view, either Bargain Hunters or MrsDutch? Thanks. I just want to see if it is in the same place as it was before. Yep, must have zeroed our views out or something when they modernized our listing pages. I know I’m being a pain probably but I’d…

EmpressDepot says: January 23, 2018

appreciate a link if you do not mind. :)

LOL

I took a look at one of your listings abigdogmom and I see your views.

I completely missed it BUT in my defense it used to be colored in red I think but definitely not black. It blended into the page so well that I completely missed it.

But if I missed it, then that means another seller missed it too.

THANKS EVERYONE!!

:)

Oops, I cannot find views on my listings that previously had them BUT at least I know at some point I will eventually get some views that will show up and I’ll know what to look for and where to find them now…

I had a couple of listings that had no views (they had been neglected by me), so I promoted them and then some views stowing up. And, you are right. the recent views used to be in red.

abigdogmom says: January 24, 2018

Pardon the typos, it’s early.

I always would look at the bottom of my listing page and it would say how many views…..But now they are very slow to show up….if i tweet one of my items, the bottom of the page would say how many from twitter saw it, now it takes forever for the views to show up, i have waited as long as the next day for the bottom of the page views to be updated.

YAY!! You are correct!! That window is GONE, just contact the seller! FINALLY!!
