This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi Ringo4422,

We appreciate you wanting to be a fully informed member of the Bonanza community! These are both useful settings to know about in your Batch Edit Item tool.

“Set instant offer [URL removed] __% off of the list price” is used for items that are price negotiable. This would be the lowest percentage off of the list price that a seller would accept as an offer from a buyer. The offer would be automatically accepted and does not require seller approval. The buyer can check out immediately.

“Apply discount __%” is used to lower, or raise, the price of items by a percentage. Pro members have the option to show this markdown in the item listing so that shoppers know what a great deal they are getting.

Please also feel free to reach out to Bonanza’s friendly and knowledgeable Support Team with any questions. We can be reached through the Help drop-down menu in the upper left-hand corner of your screen or at support@bonanza.com. We are here to help!

Again, thank you! I will reach out to your support team as I do have a few questions. I’ve been selling on Bonanza for several years, but I really want to make the most of it as sales are down for me. I suppose there isn’t a way to reach you personally, is there?
Thank you again!

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
