I’m on 9% fees on Bonanza and I have over 900 items in booth (Avon products and vintage). Average I’m selling 5-10 items on Bonanza every month. Which fees % do you have and which one works well for you?

My level is 9% and I occasionally get a sale. Did bump to 13% for a bit but not any increase in sales volumes (but did get charged 13% on what I sold) so nothing positive to say about that (at least for me).
I dont do any memberships because I doubt I would increase the paltry amount of sales I would have to justify the monthly membership cost. Basically I just do this as a hobby because I certainly cant make much money here. Sales here used to be much better until they went into the paid advertising mode. I know, I know, it is all Google’s fault…. blame somebody else.
Bonz is not the destination it SHOULD have BECOME over time to give some real competition to the auction site but they still are more friendly to the sellers than the other site.

Hello Wiosenka, I normally have been at the 13% level and do make some sales. Starting First of July went to the next level up, And using the news statistics available, I will decide over the months of July and August if there is a meaning full improvement in visits and sales. If not I will return to the 13% level for the fall and holiday season. My thought now is that for me the 13% is the right place to be. Time will tell the story………..Good Luck

I leave mine at 13%.
I don’t get a lot of sales, but they often don’t cost me the full 13% when I do.
I just have the free booth, as well.

I am doing the 9% level because I wanted to do more than the lowest, but I don’t make enough sales yet to go higher. I’m also still developing the branding of my shop here, and have much more inventory to examine, photo and list. Just can’t move as fast as I want right now. Until I get my shop more fleshed out, and it is a free booth BTW, and can spend more marketing, and consolidate my merchandise among other shops too, I won’t be raising my percentage. I’m also mainly a papercrafter, and my specialty does not bring in the bucks like other handmade specialities, or like the other selling categories here.

5 to 10 sales a month is pretty good for Bonanza.
I have a free membership, and 3 booths, I usually use 13%, I did try 19% & 30% but did not see any difference, so I leave it at 13%. I do switch off tho, and try different levels every now and then. I had 3 sales to “outsiders” which i call non members of bonanza in June. Last sale was June 23rd.

I use the lowest level 3.5% I had a trial Gold membership for a month it literally did nothing there was no change I had briefly increased to 9% but again there was no difference no increase in views so put it back. I average 1-2 sales a month with no advertising although I have a Facebook page which I add to each month & a small display in an office other than that all my sales have been organic/self driven to keep costs as low as possible. In the past 30 days I had 4 orders so hopefully it will keep up I’m currently in the process of expanding my inventory as much as possible & adding new & different items. Plan to keep using the free booth option. 5-10 sales a month on here is very good I would say keep doing what you’re doing now see how it goes. Congrats on the sales & good luck for more success!

I was at platinum for a month got 3-4 sales a week but not enough to pay the fees. I do have a silver booth and average about 5-8 sales a month. I am on another site and average about 11 sales a day. But the fees here are lower and the rules are better.

i have used the silver since i got on here. i have just over a thousand items listed and sell a couple a day usually. I did boost it up to the 30% rate and it did sell a larger number of items, the break point of how much they take for a commission and the increase in sales was the question that came to be raised. was it worth it?

I have been on Bonanza one year and one month. I have sold only 4 items, one of which I sent over from ebay, on purpose, to buy here. i began at 9% and went to 13% pretty quickly but no sales. I have over 300 items. New clothing mostly and shoes and a large % of that in Big Men and Plus Women sizes of clothes and underwear. I sell over 30 items a month on ebay and none on Bonanza. I check in every day and keep my items synced. I don’t use the background eraser because it doesn’t work and I just cannot figure out why I do not sell. I even have elected the 1% price reduction for Bonanza items imported from ebay. I do think Bonanza has immensely better selling rules and fees but really they are not much more than an inventory storage for me. I cannot figure what to do to increase sales. People are not coming here to buy clothing much I figure. Shame because ebay can get oppressive to sellers and Bonanza seems to love it’s sellers.
