I opened a booth a couple of nights ago. As far as I know it was a free booth with no extra options. Saturday night I made a $289.99 sale (Plus shipping it was like $312.something.
This morning a $25.00 charge was made to my bank card that says it was from Bonanza. I have written support but see no way for immediate answers. Obviously charges I do not understand on my card are a major red flag.
I do see what new sellers can be charged immediately for seller fees if they have added up to $25. I should not have $25 fee for this one sale.
Any ideas what is going on with this charge? I do not want to close my booth, but I am very uncomfortable with an unexplained charge.

Hopefully support will answer you soon. Is it possible that you accidentally signed up for a stand-a-lone Bonanza Webstore? There is a $25 monthly fee for [URL removed] [URL removed] The upgraded subscriptions also have a monthly [URL removed] [URL removed] Gold Plan is currently $24 monthly. Starter Plan is $12 monthly. The simple Bonanza booth is free. I have one.
Honestly, I DID have a problem understanding how and what to sign up for when I first joined. I did a lot of reading and studying first, in the Help/Support pages, and in the forums, before I joined. I wanted to start with the free booth, and needed to be sure that was what I was signing up for.

The answer from Bonanza is that they are seller fees without explanation. I figured out that I had been opted into advertising that I did not want. Not too pleased with my Bonanza seller experience so far. I saw nothing about paying extra for advertising as I signed up. Seems a bit “tricky” to sign up as a seller here. I have switched to economy advertising, which is what I would have selected in the first place if given the clear option when signing up. I feel a bit burned by the sign up process and fees. Not very clear. I would have increased my asking price if I had known I was going to be charged more than on Ebay. In fact, I probably would not have started selling here at all.
