200+ views no sales.

I have 200 views in a week-just opened the account-but no sales. What could be wrong?
The first thing crossed my mind is payment options.I only offer Paypal.Should I offer more options such as debit/credit card?
Your omments are important for me.

Thank you

I have been selling professionally for almost two years. I have inventory of over 5,200 items listed on about 10 sites. This site is second to last in terms of sales. Plus, in the past week sales online have plummeted. Compared to this time last year I’ve seen almost a 90% drop. I want to chalk it up to the elections and hope everything rights itself soon after or I will be going out of business.

It happens every 4 years because of the elections. Sales fall off to nothing, even in brick & mortor stores. Things will pick back up around the end of neovember, Then sales really pick up come Jan. I have been in retail for over 40 years and see this cycle all the time.

Last week was terrible for me as well on Ebay,I can’t compare how I am doing on Bonanza since I just opened it.The election will be over tomorrow night and if it goes by as expected,I think sales will rocket by Thanksgiving.

I have had as many as 2500-7500 views a week..and still not have any sales…

and then I can have one view and the item sells…

Just haven’t got the right viewer yet

Very true ccmom! One time i had an item I could not sell on ebay for the life of me, I put it up on Bonanza, and it sold within hours. They buyer left in his feedback to me that I had the lowest price anyplace. He just happened to be looking for the item & I had it. So he bought it.
