30% of advertising - no sales.

I understand your site Joint dead? If the spring I did the daily sales, but now I let you sell 1 unit per month. A shame. you need to close your site and not to take people for a ride.

I put the level of advertising and 13 and 19 and 30% viewed the same ..

The elections slowed everyone’s sales day. I have been in retail over 40 years and every 4 years when the President election comes along.everyone quit spending money.
Sales normally pick back up in Jan. Sellers on ebay & Amazon are all complaining about their sales falling off to nothing.

Thanks for this info.

Thank you for this info, because since the beginning of October or maybe before.. The sales has gone dramatically so I hope the sales goes back as normal, how it use to be. :(

I have a free Facebook page for my pattern shop, and used that page to make a video slideshow of some of my patterns. I had an 819% increase in views and a sale after just one day. Bonanza does not advertise enough. You have to do it yourself I only pay the basic percent.

The FBook slideshow is easy to make, isn’t it? Just like uploading pics into the pic gallery.

Hi, which Facebook slideshow are you referring to and where do you pay basic percent?

Just a suggestion, you might try lowering the shipping rates, shoppers like very low or free shipping, simply adjust the prices accordingly, for example there is a watch for $30 but shipping is $15, half the cost of the item, why not make it $45 with free shipping? High shipping fees are off putting. But it shows you have had 94 transactions so you are not doing bad, you probably just want more business to cover the advertising expense. On this site, as others have stated, it is important to self promote as much as possible. I choose to list a large number of items (many with free shipping which customers love, I simply add whatever I would have charged for shipping & build it into the price) & I do not use advertising through Bonanza, I have a Facebook page for my shop & give out business cards with Etsy orders. This keeps Bonanza virtually free, which I like. I personally dislike the idea of paying for advertising on here since it doesn’t guarantee sales. Good luck for a successful holiday season, I hope your sales pick up soon. Best of luck & happy holidays!

I agree Jenna, because it requires the seller to spendy advertising money yet there is no guarantee of sales

& I do just fine on here without it, instead I promote my shop, as well as the Bonanza site, as often as possible
