Bad buyer prevention?

Is there a way to prevent buyers’ with no feedback from purchasing high priced items with buy it now? I almost got scammed by someone with no feedback. if not, how do i suggest it to bonanza? Ebay has this feature and I am very hesitant to list more items because of this.

You can go to the Selling Dashboard, Booth Settings, Payment Options, Payments and Purchases, Buyer Restrictions and then check the Buyer Restrictions section to require the level of feedback a buyer would need to buy your items. This would apply to all of your items. I do hope this helps.

All my BUYERS come into me with ZERO feedback and then it seems never return.
If it were not for those buyers, I would have no sales at all (not that my stuff
is flying out of my booth anyway). Sales here have never been worse here for me
even though I am at the 9% advertising fee here. I refuse to pay to play here and
absolutely wont give any business to the Evil auction site from here for advertising.

Any buyer that see’s your items in a search of the web and is not a member of bonanza will have 0 feedback., if you block them, you may not have any sales at all. I love when i see someone come along that shows that, because it means they found my item while searching the internet and is not a member of Bonanza., not that being a member of Bonanza is bad, i have had many members of bonanza purchase from me, but its nice to see others purchase also, and I have never had a problem at all. Also, all items here are “Buy it now” unless you add “Or best offer” which i never do, I have never had a buyer come back that offered a lower price, so I just dont do it.

The other answers you were given are all great answers. As a seller, you have seller protection if you use PayPal (which you do). If you deliver the item to the buyer with proof of delivery, then PayPal will protect your transaction. However, it also protects buyers who purchase items from sellers who may also have zero feedback.

I know about the buyer restriction thing but all it protects against is if someone wants to make an offer on one of my items, not the buy it now option. Does amazon payments have the same similar protections that paypal does? Thankfully the scammer used paypal and I had the seller protection with the item I sold.

PayPal protects sellers on any transaction that is paid for. It doesn’t matter if it is an offer or buy it now.

You had the block on for 0 feedback on and it allowed a "buy it Now " purchase? Wow I would not have thought that would happen. You should contact support@bonanza.com and ask they correct this or clarify it on the selling dashboard.
