Can i bulk edit text that has clickable links?

I have hundreds of listings that I have imported which need to have links updated. Can I do that without having to go back into each individual listing and converting the text url into a clickable link? It is the same url, over and over again, so bulk editing would be a tremendous relief!

Be aware, you can links to your FB, twitter, social media, etc but you cannot have links to other selling sites…

Yes, I do know that ;-) I am trying to replace links to another site with links to Bonanza. The HTML option works great EXCEPT it does not deal with line breaks well. I’ve been fighting it for a couple of hours now and line breaks just have to be dealt with on a listing by listing basis… NOT good!

text replace, everything has to be identical for it to work, on space, break or anything and it will not work

meant to say, one thing different and it will not work…..

That is what I am seeing… I’m just used to being able to replace line breaks with what I choose (as in, replacing two line breaks with only one), so it’s a bit frustrating for my perfectionistic mind set, lol!

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
