Coupon code

I set a coupon code up a couple of weeks ago and I just made a sale but I can’t tell this customer to use the coupon for his purchase because I don’t see the discount price on the item purchase summery order. How do you know if the customer got the discount or not? This is the first time I sold my item since I’ve created the coupon code. Please can someone answer my question?

Also by looking at your items, your code is not publicly active, so it is a private code, which means you have to actually give it to someone..as misskeech says

I checked my booth with my other account and I could see the coupon was activated. Also you can see my coupon if you go ‘Coupon & Deals’. So I thought I published the coupon code.

Also the coupon was on the packing slip when I printed it out for my customer. I have a normal booth for this account but I signed up gold member for my other account and I realized some benefits from the gold member goes to this booth. Kinda messed up. I need to contact Bonanza support.

if you are referring to this booth…exitworldent..there is no public coupon in the booth…if it is in the other one, just deleted and enter it in this one, then activate it

Okay. Thank you for your help again.

Was the coupon made public? coupon codes can be made public or private (you give the buyer the code) if you did not give them the code, then they probably have not used it. See ccmom answer above also.

Yes. Very happy! Thank you.

The discount would be on the invoice if they use the coupon…also you should be able to tell by the total price if a discount was made…

If you want your code to be active on your items you will need to publish the coupon code (Click on the button that says Publish this coupon)

I did but seems like it’s not working. I signed up Gold member for my other account and some benefits goes to this account not to the other account. It seems like Bonanza messed up with my both account. I need to contact them. Thank you for your help!

even if it is visible the buyer actually has to click on it to apply it….it is not automatic…and membership has nothing to do simple coupon codes…that is available to all booths

also..I recommend filling out the About Me information on your Profile page, and you can add a link to your other booth or booths…

What if the coupon is on the packing slip when I print it out. The coupon code is on the packing slip for the next purchase. Does it mean the coupon code for private ?
