Sometimes losing money is the cost of doing business. I would take the high [URL removed] tell them you are sorry the purchase didn’t work out, refund the purchase price & initial shipping when you get the vest back, & wish them a Merry Christmas.

If you don’t have a specific return policy you may have to give a total refund if they contest the charges with paypal or their credit card. “no returns” really isn’t enforceable if they return the item in a reasonable time & file a dispute. If they will accept a refund minus the shipping that is fair & good but they don’t have to. You can also put store credit only in a return policy. But if they dispute the charge you may still be stuck.
