I have read many post asking about the direct checkout as a payment choice. According to what I have seen no one know when or even if Bonanza will bring it back. My question is this I just noticed that Bonanza removed the direct checkout option in my account setting which is fine. I just noticed in my listings of items it still claims I accept direct checkout. Does this mean I have to go through all of my individual listings and change that? Or am I the only one who see it? I don’t want to have to constantly explain this to a potential customer.Thank you inadvance

Since a buyer can pay via credit/debit card via PayPal or Amazon Payments, it makes sense for Bonanza to leave the payment option in place in seller listings. There are a lot of buyers who do not know that they can opt to pay with a credit card using those services.
I’d rather have the message in place than to risk losing a sale because a buyer might think “I don’t have PayPal, so I guess that I can’t buy from this seller.” At least leaving the message in place gets the buyer to go to Checkout.
As a seller who has a PP account in good standing, I’d rather the buyer avoid direct credit card processing and go through PayPal (or Amazon Payments if I were to use it). I get my money faster Direct Checkout would pay me. However, I totally understand that some sellers may not want to use PP or Amazon for payment collection.

I also see that it is no longer available in the Payments and purchases option to uncheck…which is the only way to actually remove it from all the listings..(cannot be edited out)
However, technically, people can still use credit card checkout, they just have to use Paypal or amazon as the credit card processor (ie meaning a person without a paypal account can still checkout with credit card, by clicking on PP and then choosing credit card option)
Also note that the “Direct Credit card” does not appear during checkout but PayPal & Amazon payments [URL removed] credit cards does
