email address ???

There is a PROBLEM with sending digital files to customer.
[URL removed] customer has purchased a POSTER which has to be sent as a ready-to-print DIGITAL FILE.
Poster is ready to be sent…BUT there is NO EMAIL address in the customer’s profile.
I did send a message, but because of time difference, it will take some hours.
How come Bonanza has overlooked this problem completely ??

Here is a REQUEST to [URL removed] please make email address mandatory for both, the seller and the buyer.
OR better…when a buyer makes a purchase, he/she will have to include his/her email address, before completing the purchase.

Thanks

In all of my digitals listings I have a statement that says the file will be emailed to the email address on record at their Paypal acct, because I use PP at all of my venues. Have a nice day!

Hello [URL removed] If it is true that an email address is not mandatory for both, the seller and the buyer, and you want to suggest it, don’t forget about the feedback forum. The link is [URL removed] [URL removed] . You can also find it by clicking on Help in the menu bar at the top, then click Submit An Idea. If the buyer paid via PayPal, send the file to their PP email address. You’ll have to find the sale in your PayPal account to see the email address.

Thanks, forgot about that, because PP belongs to my wife’s email

As Tom says…Log into paypal and get all your buyer’s email addresses from there…

Don’t know about you, but every sale I get from PayPal, I get a PayPal notification with the buyer’s email…

thanks, totally forgot about PP.

I thought buyer’s did have to leave an email address, but could be wrong. A message should be okay, then. I think as long as they get it within 24 hours you’ve done all you could.

Another option would be to pay for a membership so as to allow for more items available via instant download right after the customer pays. This way there’s no concern over messages and time differences. That’s actually a better way for the buyer. The basic membership allows up to 100 instant downloads and would be the least expensive. If I were making more sales, I’d go for that in a heartbeat.

For this instance, I hope everything works out for you!

Thanks, it is not instant download. It’s a customized poster, only thru email. I hope the customer gets back to me ASAP.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
