Have they made changes to search?

I am a paid gold membership but none of my items come up on top of any search page.what’s the point in a paid membership if everyone gets the same search option. very unsatisfied with all these new changes they continously make on this site .

There are only five slots at the top of search for gold/plat/titan members. In popular categories there is alot of competition for those five slots.

never depend on internal search…95% of customers are coming from google anyway and that is where you have to worry about coming in on top….

I did a Bonanza search for Fat Quarters and saw lots of your items on the first page and at the top of the page. Don’t forget that results can be filtered by Relevance or Newest items. When you sort by newest items, you can see your items at the top. A search by relevance is going to yield the items that best match the search text entry. In other words, items that have “Fat Quarters” in the title are more relevant than items that have “Fat Quarters” only in the traits or the text of the description.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
