Looking for a work around to bonanza default item traits

Good morning everyone!! Hope your weekend was exciting and profitable.

In my item feed to Google, every one of the men’s neckties I have listed have been rejected by Google. Stating the item traits are not valid. I had sent help request to Bonanza, but told me to follow Google Shopping … These are traits Bonanza has set and Google will not assist. This wouldn’t be so bad if I only have a few ties listed, but with 140+ list and another 400+ more neckties to list, but if they don’t show, what’s the point? So I am hoping someone here has a work around on how to fix.

Here’s a picture of what I am talking about. ![URL removed]

Hope this picture shows up

Traits and attributes are not the same…..the only attributes (those sent to google) are the Brand, upc, mpn/isbn-13.

The google traits for Apparel and Accessories needed are

Size, Color, Gender and age group…the only thing I see missing is a Size trait that google will accept

It may also have something to do with offering many of the same items with variations..see section on color/size variations of same/similar items

to enter your own traits

Batch edit
Search Optimation
*Add search [URL removed] in this format (also same for removing or changing attributes)

Apply Changes

If an attribute/trait does not exist, then you can use

Sorry, mis-spoke, Thx, but the attributes are set by Bonanza, IMO Bonanza should fix this as it is their design

As far as I can see bonz is sending the required attributes/traits if they are provided…except size which may not pertain to ties..but if you want to suggest the trait here is the form [URL removed]

Thank you CindyBear, great idea.

Could You just delete from these listings ‘length’ and ‘width’ (customers can find it in items description) and then check feeds again?
It seems You should be fine without them, as the word ‘classic’ is not the proper one for the ‘size’ attribute.

Without being able to use the attributes, I have to enter the info into each item. So much more work. Would you purchase something without knowing the size? I wouldn’t either,

No one would buy something without knowing the size – it’s obvious per se! I didn’t suggest this at all. I said customer could find it in the item description, and size should be added there anyway.

As to “So much more work”, You can use ‘batch edit items’ to make it faster (choosing groups of items with the same dimensions). Any decision (and its consequences) is up to You! Good luck.

Thank you so much for your imput. Very much appreciated

already states length/width is removed from the feed as it is not google required…

YVW! Try to use in batch “Text editing” and to make it easier, just use the “Add text to end of items’ descriptions” option. As a buyer, it wouldn’t bother me at all, if You have dimensions added on the end of Your descriptions.

Wonderful suggestions!! Thank you so much
