Hello, and let me apologize for asking this here. But the Amazon website is a mess. I don’t know if they are having problems with their site, or the fact that I stopped in the middle of the process. But I got an email from them that made no sense whatsoever. Anyway, is there a monthly fee for using Amazon Payments, or do they only charge you when a purchase is made. Also, if you know, how much do they charge you when someone uses Amazon Payments? Do they charge the seller or the buyer? Again, I apologize for asking for Amazon help here, but I’ve tried all I know to get some simple answers, and it’s just now working. I really do appreciate your help!

Pay with Amazon fees are transaction-based and have a processing and authorization component. The Transaction fee is composed of a domestic processing fee of 2.9% and an authorization fee of $0.30, plus tax where applicable, charged when the purchase is successfully authorized and processed.
For example, if a $10 transaction is made on your website, your total transaction fee would be $.59.
There is no monthly fee to pay. Fees are paid by the Seller per transaction. It pretty much works like Paypal.
Good luck!

I thought Amazon payments had something in their terms buried somewhere that they dont release the payment to you (the seller) until AFTER the item is shipped???
I dont use Amazon Payments because of this but remember reading something about it being like that.
I am not going to ship any item until I have the funds in my account or in hand if it is a money order.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
