I notice some people have more than one booth to differentiate their specialty items from their general merchandise items. I have a Gen. Mchdse. booth, but I’m tossing around starting a new booth for just my soy candles.
Does anyone have any pros vs. cons for multiple booths?

Been there, done that – really like the ease of a general booth.
You can create good categories (Main + Sub) so that your buyers/browsers can get around and shop.
Give me a good old fashion general store and I can browse for HOURS! ;)

There are pros and cons regarding anything, actually…but I’m going to encourage you to only maintain one booth.
Why? Well, here’s why. People who are only looking for Soy Candles, hopefully, will somehow find your booth, in which you have those for sale. But people are people, and thus, they may be looking for soy candles, but maybe something in your booth besides candles will catch their eyes, and most buyers realize shipping costs can be combined, and they might just buy more than just the soy candles. Whereby if you had a booth only with soy candles in it, if they buy, then that is all they will buy for CERTAIN, get it? I was a seller. I once had more than one booth. Thus, I’m not against 2 or more booths, nor do I feel qualified to tell you what to do, thus I’m simply encouraging you that MOST customers I know like Booths with a Larger Variety, again, it comes down to them having to pay shipping for each different buy, whereby a Booth with a Variety of items (including candles) that Customer will know they can pay LESS in shipping if they decide to buy MORE than just some soy candles from your booth! Whatever you decide I hope you do well!

I’m a fan of one booth. I agree with Dee that those searching for soy candles might happen upon your booth and then see what else you have. With multiple booths that would be highly unlikely. Also, I see you have a Silver membership. Multiple booths, mean multiple memberships, if you want the same exposure/perks for each booth. Of course, you don’t have to have membership for all booths or have the same level or membership, but it’s definitely something to consider in making your decision. Best of luck.

I have heard that the main reason people have more than one booth is because of postage charges and combined shipping. Glassware has completely different postage costs than books, for instance, so a seller might want glassware all in one booth and books in another booth. In that case, the seller would have different combined shipping rules set up for the two booths.
For me personally, though, I would still go with one booth even if I sold two completely different lines of products. I wouldn’t want to have to sign in and out of different accounts in order to manage my items for sale. I want everything in one account so that I can manage it better.

I have two booths, one for cross stitch patterns and supplies and the other is for beads and jewelry supplies (MsBijouxBeads). They are both craft related but the names are very specific and branded. For me it’s easier to keep organized. Shipping was not the issue for me.
Also for me personally when I go to a shop looking for a book I don’t enjoy seeing glass vases or knick knacks, a personal qwirk I’m sure : )

I had three booths, then two, now I am almost completely moved from the other into this one, when I will have only one…it’s a hassle that most sellers do not need to have more than one…create your own categories

I’m no expert but the wife and I have one booth with a lot of variety. I think that since most people find us through search engines, they really don’t come into our booth until after they have landed on an item they searched and then clicked to see what else we may have in that category. If you categorize reasonably well, people won’t be distracted by other stuff. They will select the category they are looking for and slip into it…away from the other stuff. I look at it like many stores do – they put a lot of stuff around the cash register so when you have bought that book you may also buy a “doodle-bug” or a pack of gum on the way out. :)
