are there many here being hit or changing photos to new photo hosting sites due to the ridiculous new $500 fees on photobucket for having photosd being uploaded to third-party sites i.e. bonanza / ebay? how are you handling it?

I experimented with photobucket when if first appeared…didn’t really get into it. I may not be the easiest, but I have a spare hard drive that stores all my photos, and I up load to each and every site and listing that I use photos on…….done this since the beginning…
Sorry for all of those that are using photobucket…it will be a lot of work re-loading photos everywhere

Photobucket users can use the download feature and reclaim the photos back to their own storage devices. Of course, if you want to post photos on websites using “links”, then you have to have the pics “hosted” by some service or use your own server.

Ever since PB changed a couple of years ago, I’ve had trouble figuring it out. I have all my photos stored on my Dropbox account, so I won’t lose any. I’ll have to check to see if I need to d/l any from PB, but I won’t be paying for the service.

months and months of work is ruined – dont have the words at the moment. My Bonanza store will probably close earlier as too much time has to be spent redoing everything.
Thankfully product photos are not affected – but what they have done is nothing short of criminal. I won’t lose any photos.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
