You need to learn/understand that google cycles…and advertising cycles
Every 2-3 weeks google cycles which listing to show…and about every 6 weeks they do a ‘deep crawl’ or scan of sites
Google picks and chooses on cycles, what items to show..
Last month I did great..best ever, this month, it is like I am invisible…and another 2-3 weeks it will happen again…
As with advertising, the ads go to where/when they will do the most good and only times do they go out…
That is why there are cycles of sales and cycles without…
This is where dumping thousands of items at one time will hurt you over time…when you first do it…google loves it, crawls the listings, puts the new listings out…and you get views, visits, and sales..google cycles around in 3 weeks, thousands/millions of new listings have been added since you added yours, new listings are now pushed to the top and older have a lower rank…
This is why I recommend, adding new listings on a regular basis, updating, working on keywords, and/or changing titles around every so often..it keeps your listings new and fresh and keeps google happy….
The only places that are not at google’s mercy are Amazon (they don’t submit) and have new merchandise added daily and ebay, new listings daily keep their listings up in google and everyone goes there anyway
Also note that most of the East Coast of the US is under water right now…so not much in the way of purchasing going on…
It is the way it works and to take advantage of it means to update, change, and add New information constantly.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
