Payment options for buyer - money order

I changed my payment options deleting google payments and adding Money Orders as an option. I still have PayPal as an option for payment. Do I need to add my address anywhere or is that just done after a sale is completed? Thanks in advance for the info.

I have money orders as an option. Only been used a couple of times.

The buyer will have to click on “Payment options” below the Paypal button on the checkout page. It is kinda hard to see if they don’t know to look. It will bring down a dropdown menu that gives them the option of “Pay with Money Order” or “Pay with Bonanza Gift Card”. When they select “Pay with Money Order” it will show them what to do.

If you want to see it for yourself, go to my booth, put something in your cart and go to the checkout page. (You don’t need to actually buy to see it.) Click on the “Pay with Money Order” option and it will take you to a confirmation page where it explains that the sale needs to be approved by the seller. The sale is not complete until the buyer confirms the order and the seller approves the sale. When you approve the transaction the items need to be placed in reserve so no one else can buy them.

It takes a couple more steps than a Paypal sale but does provide an option for those that don’t like Paypal or don’t have credit cards.

One more thing, I don’t think you are allowed to add an address to your listings or booth, because it can be seen as a way to bypass Bonanza on sales like an email address or phone number might.

Thanks – I thought maybe there was a spot to put your address into the payment option so the buyer knows who to send the payment to. I will cross that bridge when I come to it I guess. I do realize that there would be scammer and security concerns with posting addresses on the sales site. I often wondered about the security concerns of privacy when someone wanted to know where you lived that is all they have to do buy something from your site (If you use your home address as a place of business).

As you have mentioned “You just send them a message with the mailing address for the MO when it happpens”

Could you please explain this, make it more clear to understand.

Thank you.
