Given the recent change with Google Wallet on Bonanza I would like to hear from sellers that have used Amazon as a payment method to decide if it is an option I would consider using.
Have used PayPal for years as a buyer and seller without any issues. (Knock on wood) And although Google was not as friendly to navigate through I did like the fact that funds from any sale were directly transferred rather than held by them in an account.

I have used Amazon payments since it was offered on Bonanza and never had a problem with it. The Merchant Center is easy to use, you just add shipping info to your order and funds are transferred immediately to your bank without a request. Of the three payment systems, I receive my funds from Amazon the fastest. They offer phone support as well.
When you first sign up, or at least it used to be, your funds are held 14 days before you receive them. This may be for the first 30-60 days.
edit to say, when you first sign up, you will receive your shipping funds right away and the balance in 14 days.

I’ve had Amazon since it was first introduced here. Note that the funds are “held” for a few days like Google but the amount to cover shipping is released next day. My only “issue” with Amazon is that I get duplicate bonz sale notices when payment is made via Amazon. (Not really a big deal.)

Amazon does do direct deposit also, but there will be a 14 day wait until you hit/maintain a certain level of sales. Also at first the deposits are also partial, they always hold a small portion for a few days longer…
If you have consistant sales then the deposits come faster and more often. You will also, like GCO use other funds for shipping.
since I have had several sales on CBA
[URL removed] sale on Aug 27, full amount was deposited on 9/3
[URL removed] funds held for at least 14 days at first, until a certain limit is reached
have to use another source for shipping

direct deposit to account without you having to do anything
Lots of people like amazon

I haven’t had any issues with amazon checkout…I never had any with google either….as with google wallet …amazon deposits money directly into your account as well.

I have liked Amazon since we started using it several months ago. Large percentage of sales through Amazon. Little more involved to set up, but your hair will grow back. J/K ;)
