Unable to change shipping costs

Looking for some quick help here. Just received my first sale on Bonanza. When I went to accept it, the system wouldn’t let me add the shipping cost. The buyer lives in France.

The Bonanza system told me that an invoice has already been sent, so I had to write to the buyer and tell them it was the incorrect amount because it didn’t include the shipping cost.

Now I can’t figure out how to resend a new invoice.

Everything is okay now! Buyer from France paid the extra for postage. Thanks for the help all!

It sounds like you might have your booth set up to automatically send an invoice. This needs to be deactivated. Go to “account settings” on the left side of “My Bonanza.” Next, go to “seller settings.” Scroll down near the bottom and make sure “When I approve an order, send the buyer their invoice automatically (don’t prompt me to review the invoice)” is NOT selected.

When that setting is not selected, then on the offer page you will see a small link to update the invoice. On the resulting page, you will be able to input the shipping. Finally, you will be able to send the invoice with the shipping amount entered. You will only be able to send the invoice one time by this method, so it must be correct before sending it.

You can prelist international shipping so this doesn’t happen again. You can batch edit your items to dd international shipping. You can contact support and maybe cancel the sale as far as this particular sale goes, unless your willing to take the loss.

I would give the buyer a full refund through Paypal (and, yes, you will be out of 30 cents), and then send the buyer an email explaining the reason for the refund, and also put the shipping amount in that email. Chances are the buyer will not want to pay the shipping cost since international shipping is so high.

Well, they just paid via Paypal for just the book. :(

When you approve the order, there is a sentence, I think it’s toward the top that gives you the option to change the invoice, but it must be done prior to approving it.
