I’m just guessing, but I think they are taking your history of views and projecting what your expected daily views are. As the day goes on, if you views aren’t meeting the projection, it re-evaluates them.

weird but you may be right! but I am constantly adding new items, almost every day, so their projections wil not be accurate, & it is confusing, but you are probably right.

I still don’t understand why the views decrease over the course of a day

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi Jewelsbelegance,
The “Projected” stats are a recent change. Rather than show the actual views for the current day on the chart, which may not be a good indicator of your day, we estimate the views you will receive by the day’s end.

We take into account your current views for the day and how much time is left in the day, and extrapolate the number based on that.

Hope that helps!

it would be a lot less confusing to just have the actual views per day, not extrapolated or projected i.e. guessed views.
