for 5 items/month….stay with PP or USPS site…
Any shipping service is not cost effective unless you are a high volume shipper…

USPS is what I use. Check out using their regional rate boxes and their padded flat rate envelopes. You have to order both of these items online and it will take about 2-3 weeks for them to get to you. Regional Rate can be confusing because they have 3 boxes…A,B,C. The letters refer to size of the package not area of the country. I ship a lot of small items. I think the A boxes max cost is 9.88 for up to 15 lbs shipping cross country, but that same package going only a few states away might cost as little as 5.48. Big Savings. Also the padded flat rate envelope is $5.95 and is more flexible than the regular envelope so it can fit more items. Think a little outside the box, literally. I just shipped something that went into a box. If I just slapped a postage label on the box it would have cost 7.88 to ship. But it fit inside the padded flat rate and it cost $5.95, actually I think $5.80(because you get a discount buying online.) Remember if it fits it ships!

I ship my signs with usps.com my average shipping rate is a 2.15 lbs package and they seem to be the cheapest and free of course. Plus do home pick up’s which saves so much time and gas running to the post office.

- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
