The forums were a wonderful help for newcomers to the site – buyers and sellers alike – because they helped answer questions, explain procedures, and promote camaraderie. Management has its hands full with development and trying to catch up to the big elephant in the field. Unfortunately some people used the forums in mean and malicious ways, and I guess management got tired of playing policeman and abruptly discontinued them. I mourn the loss since it brought many of us here every day which kept us more involved which meant we were working harder to make our stores successful.

Forums would be a great idea for individual sellers. Sometimes as in spellworkers the forum provides a comfort to people who need hope and a place to write the little things happening regarding the spells as perhaps they may not manifest completely but even a partial manifestation is nice to see. Yes competition may bring out the evil in people but we all have an evil component to us. It does get down to he likes her and she hates him though and since people rarely stick to facts in general yes mudslinging should not be allowed. I feel in the case of spell workers and occult items though a second feedback should be allowed as sometimes the manifestation can take time and what if that person wants to send a retraction? A gee the spell worked AFTER all? Or perhaps they gave feedback too quickly because they were just so darn nice and you didn’t have a chance to say the spell worked? A second feedback should be allowed after a month.

Bonanza has a terrible habit of upgrading sections of the site but not changing the references to them. I asked the same thing about ‘forums’. If I remember, they are referenced in the help or FAQs, but when you look for them… Oh we changed that to this. Well you’re not helping then are you? Just rest assured its not you, its them.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
