Wish list question

When members add your item(s) to their wish list would you consider it poor taste or acceptable to send them a message with a combined or lower price?
Thanking all in advance for their opinion.

This has been an on and off question since the very beginning and it pretty much comes down to using your own judgement.

I do not send a message, unless I am going to add a coupon or reduce the price, then I may send the person a notification that something to the effect of “If still interested in xxx, it will be on sale for xxx days or use discount code xxx”

But I also know that sometimes items are put on wish lists to be added to HPL’s that someone is creating….to keep track of the item.

Thank you ccmom..yes, I was going to offer a reduced combined price for multiple items.

You could send them an email or newsletter to thank them for visiting your booth or looking at your item and maybe highlight any sales that you currently have or will have. You could also describe any promotional discounts that you may have [URL removed] discounts on shipping with x-amount spent, % off for x-amount spent, etc. Major retailers do this all the time, just remember to be polite, courteous, and thankful.

please remember, you do not have emails..unless they have already purchased from you, and sending promos through the bmail system can be reported as spam…
