“Today, not only is Earth Day meant to increase awareness of environmental problems, but it is also becoming a popular time for many communities to gather together to clean up litter, plant trees, or simply reflect on the beauty of nature”.
Hi vintage, thank you! Yes, we need to be thinking ahead, what kind of world are we leaving behind for future generations? What can we do now to try to make any kind of difference…
Hi Vintage, thank you! There are definitely things we can and should do. It’s going to be a pretty sad world if we don’t start taking it seriously now!
A belated Thanks AudiLee for including my loofah listing in this very cool list.
I told my kids all the way through: If you take care of it, it will last. (teeth, clothes, books, relationships, etc.)
One thing I like to do: every year I like to plant a little more clover (https://www.groworganic.com/products/mini-perennial-clover-grass-mix-lb) at our place. It makes good forage for insects, chickens, goats… and it’s pretty to look at (flowers and leaves… and every once in a while you spot a four leaf clover….).
What are you doing for Earth Day?
