Frederick Rodman Law (1885 - 1919), aka Rodman Law, was a career parachutist, building climber, silent movie stuntman and actor, as well as a veteran; during WWI was assigned to Kelly Field, Texas.

On February 2, 1912, Law parachuted off the top of the candle of the Statue of Liberty.

Law starred in many silent movies including the 1914 film “Daredevil Rodman Law”

Photo shows his sister (credit blurb on reverse incorrectly states daughter), Ruth Law Oliver (1887 – 1970), an aviation pioneer in her own right, presenting the first parachute Rodman demonstrated.
