Offered here is this Vintage International Silver Company Silverplate 20" Covered Platter. It is in good condition, but does have a few small dents and dings in it. I am unsure of its age, but it is stamped inside the cover with Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles California, SG0957. It also has the marking for the Ambassador Hotel on the cover with the eagle and two lions. It looks quite old, and has obviously gotten a good bit of use. It has a great patina, and is very tarnished, but should polish up beautifully. The platter is 20" long, and 15.5" wide. The cover is 8.5" tall from the rim to the top of the handle, 6" deep, 17.5" long and 12.75" wide. It is an amazing silverplate covered platter. It is a classic piece that will be a must have addition to your silverplate collection, and is a nice keepsake from The Ambassador Hotel.
