Bean refill bags are sold separately so you can give it a pick-me-up whenever needed, since all well-loved bean bags compress over time. For child safety and durability reasons, we intentionally break off the outside zipper pull before shipment. If you need to open your bag, simply use a paperclip to pull it open. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. The cover is not removable, but may be spot cleaned as needed.
