Garden Sorrel is a perennial herb treasured for its sharp, tangy flavor. The bright green, arrow-shaped leaves of the sorrel plant are used in salads, soups, and stews to impart a lemon-like tang. Often likened to spinach in its appearance and nutritional profile, sorrel's unique taste sets it apart. In addition to its culinary uses, sorrel has been historically used for its medicinal properties. Its refreshing, zesty flavor can be a delightful addition to your herb garden and kitchen recipes.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Direct sow seeds outdoors after the last frost, or start them indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep in rich, well-drained soil. Garden Sorrel prefers full sun to partial shade and moist soil conditions.
