A cute little puzzle elephant keychain that I think comes from Hong Kong in the early 1960's. There is no country but it says "Empire Made" which could be the British Empire or more likely a company of that name which you would be more likely to find in a Crown Colony than post-war Japan. There are folded directions . The top folding tag has the original retail price written on it in ink.

Apparently the manufacturer cast the complete set of pieces in each different color and then put them together in combinations. There are six pieces so one in six would have a blue body, etc.

NOS "New, Old Stock" from the basement of a long time import and gift shop that closed. In original unopened package. Unique and a lot of fun and convenient to take anywhere. Or save it in your collection because such things are not found often. Great surprise gift for an elephant collector friend.
