Item description for Vintage Gold Filled Beads Pearls Bracelet Signed Carl Art 1/20 12K GF

This is a delicate and lovely gold filled bead and pearl link bracelet. I don’t know if the pearls are cultured or faux pearls. The bracelet features alternating pearls and gold beads that are ribbed with a twist design. It measures approximately 7 inches in length (see pic with ruler). It is marked or stamped on the round spring clasp of the bracelet with 1/20 12K GF (see photos). This means that the minimum layer of karat gold must equal at least 1/20 the total weight of the item. Gold Filled is more valuable than Gold Plated. The other ring is also marked as 1/20 12K GF and both rings have a hallmark of the letters “CA” with an arrow going through it. This was the logo used by Carl Art Inc. from Providence Rhode Island a United States Company. The company was founded in 1936 and merged in 1981 into Vargas Manufacturing.

This is in great vintage condition as you can see in the enlarged photographs. There are no missing, dented or broken pieces. The links are all secure and the spring ring clasp closure works just fine.

You will have many compliments on this piece of jewelry. It is elegant and can be worn for a dressy evening out or with your favorite pair of jeans. This would be a perfect bracelet for a Bride, dainty and feminine it would look great with a wedding gown. It would also make a nice gift for an anniversary, birthday or any special occasion.
