These naturally dark bamboo poles vary in color from light to dark brown (The larger diameter the bamboo the lighter the color) they are called black bamboo to distinguish them from the natural or "yellow" bamboo. These naturally dark bamboo poles vary in color from light to dark brown. They are great for many decorative and building uses such as curtain rods, clothes lines, decorative accents for walls ceilings, staking up plants and flowers, fencing or dividers and much more! Poles are sold in 6' lengths and in packs 6 or 12.

**Things to consider when purchasing bamboo slats, poles and fencing**
1) Bamboo poles, 1/2 rounds and slats are almost always NOT straight.
2) Cracks and blemishes will appear on some pieces this is a natural characteristic of bamboo and will not affect pole quality.
3) The color will vary from photo and the last lot you purchased.
4) Poles, slats 1/2 rounds and sticks will always be bigger/thicker at one end. Diameters will vary slightly from pole to pole.
5) Water sealing is recommended before use to help preserve the natural black color.
