Item description for Cross Pendant Mexican Mexico Sterling Silver Overlay 925 Signed CII

This is a lovely Mexican Sterling Silver Cross with an intricate and beautifully decorated raised floral design against a black background which gives it a very dimensional feeling. It weighs .30 ounces on my postage scale and measures approximately 2 inches long (not including the bale) and 1 ½ inches wide. It is signed on the back Mexico CII 925. The bail has a good sized opening so you can wear it on a thicker chain if you wish. The chain in the photo is NOT included in the listing. This is most likely from the 1980s to early 1990s.

This cross is in great pre-owned vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It has a light patina forming and I have not polished it as many people prefer the patina that only comes with age. There are tiny surface scratches, normal for a piece that has been worn and they don't show without the magnification. I will leave any polishing up to you. It has fine quality workmanship and is extremely well made. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
