Here is a FANTASTIC, Vintage Fisher Price Fun with Food #6502 Baking Fun Play Set that is 100% COMPLETE and in EXC+++ condition!  Teaming up with Duncan Hines and Crisco, Fisher Price created a Fun with Food baking set that mirrored the kinds of ingredients and materials that their Moms used to bake up an assortment of items. The set is designed for children ranging in age from 3-7 years.

 

The set consisted of:

 

1 VHTF small round blue container of "Crisco" (MINT);

 

1 VHTF white lid for the "Crisco" container (NEAR MINT--light surface scratches);

 

1 VHTF rectangular blue plastic box with a Duncan Hine litho (VG++--several rubs on corner edges of litho; rest of box is in MINT condition);

 

1 blue plastic cupcake tray (NEAR MINT---faint scratches on bottom of individual cupcake openings);

 

2 brown plastic cupcakes (1 MINT; 1 VG+-VG++--two scrapes on top of cupcake);

 

1 HTF dark brown (chocolate) cookie that also fits in the muffin pan (NEAR MINT--some faint surface scratches on bottom of cookie);

 

1 HTF vanilla cookie that fits in the muffin pan (NEAR MINT---some faint surface scratches on bottom of cookie);

 

1 round strawberry cupcake frosting w/a round red cherry on top (MINT);

 

1 round vanilla cupcake frosting w/a round red cherry on top (MINT);

 

1 white egg that "cracks" open (EXC++--one scratch on upper half of egg);

 

1 yellow mixing bowl (MINTY MINT);

 

1 bright yellow plastic whisk (MINT---Note:  I substituted this yellow whisk in lieu of the purple whisk that originally came with this set);

 

1 orange combination spoon and spatula (MINT-- the spatula head is designed to spread cake frosting or "scrape" the batter out of the mixing bowl; the center of the piece has a spoon indentation; Note:  I substituted this orange combination spoon and spatula for the red one originally assigned to this set); and

 

3 measuring spoons that are fastened together by a bolt (VG++-- the white spoon is for 1 tablespoon; the purple spoon is for 1 teaspoon; and the red spoon is for 1/2 teaspoon; some teensy indentations around rim of red spoon; also a pronounced scuff on the handle of the purple spoon).

 

This is a WONDERFUL play set. FYI, the icing and egg shell were made in Korea. The rest of the contents were manufactured in the United States.

 

I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning all of the contents of this set prior to sending it to its new owner. My sets are IMMACULATE.

 

This set weighs 1 lb. 1 oz. UNWRAPPED and my location is Lafayette, IN (47905). Due to the size and weight of this package, I anticipate I will be shipping it via USPS Priority Mail.

I primarily utilize Fed Ex Home Delivery for items exceeding 5 lbs. in weight, measuring greater than 12 inches in any dimension, or traveling longer distances. I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.


In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home, work place, or cell phone number. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.


Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped Parcel Post via the USPS. Insurance and delivery confirmation are required.


I’m more than willing to combine multiple purchases into one box whenever it is safe to do so to decrease your shipping costs.  PLEASE combine your purchases on ONE INVOICE. If you pay for these items separately, I get charged multiple transaction fees by PayPal plus you get over-charged on your shipping. Of course, I will refund you any amount over $1.00 that you've overpaid on shipping. However, it's easier on both of us if you wait until I can send you the correct amount.


I’m more than happy to ship selected play sets to Canada.  Remember that shipping to Canada can be quite expensive so please contact me for a shipping quote before you purchase an item. I will attempt to find the cheapest shipping rate possible. Also, Canadian customers will be responsible for any brokerage fees, Custom’s duties, or VAT’s imposed by your government. I am not responsible for these charges. Insurance is required for all international shipments.
