Item description for Vintage Arch Avary Eagle Bird Pendant Necklace Gold Brass Signed 1988

This is a beautifully detailed Eagle Pendant and Necklace made of fine brass. It is signed on the back “Arch Avary Jr 1988” and “Fine Brass”. The pendant is very substantial in weight and the combined pendant and necklace have a total weight of 1.15 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 32.60 grams. It measures approximately 3 ¼ inches for the wing span and is 2 7/8 inches from the tai to the tip of the beak. This majestic bird pendant is a wearable piece of art, the craftsmanship is obvious in the details in the wings and the feathers. The chain is 21 inches in length. I don’t believe the chain is original to the pendant.

This Bald Eagle in flight necklace pendant is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is an area of slight finish loss on the back of the pendant; I have marked it with an arrow in the photograph. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be perfect for anyone who loves birds, especially Eagles. It is a great symbol for anyone who is in the military or is Patriotic. If you are a bird watcher or studying Ornithology this would be a wonderful gift for a man or a woman.
