Offered here is this Wonderful Antique Bouquet Display Basket with a 10" Insert. The basket is made of woven bamboo and is in fairly good condition, however, there are a few breaks in the bamboo weave, particularly where the handle attaches to the basket. The 10" insert also has a good bit of surface rust on it. The entire piece is 22" width with the actual basket depth being 12.5" deep at the back and sits on a wood base so that it sits flat and level. The handle flares out to a wide girth making the basket ideal to display fabulous large bouquets. I'm unsure of the exact age or origins of the basket. It looks quite old. It stands 27.5" tall from the ground to the top of the handle. The handle flares to a full 8" deep at the front with a full depth of 8" including the basket and the insert depth being 4.5" by 8" wide. This is a very nice, very old display basket and would be a fabulous addition to any antique collection.
