VAL ST. LAMBERT Belgium Set Of 2 Lead and 50 similar items

Set of 2 vintage Lead Crystal Ashtray s from VAL ST. LAMBERT 9” and 5”. Gorgeous light reflection! This is a lovely and elegant set of crystal ash trays in a tiered hexagonal pattern made by Val St. Lambert of Belgium. The largest piece is a super heavy and significant sized piece that is just under 9” (8.75”) across and 2” tall with HEFTY weight of 6 lbs. 7 oz. The smaller is just as elegant at 5” across and 0.5” tall (more of an individual ash tray size) with weight of 1 lb. 7 oz. The small key is signed on the base in etched Val St. Lambert. The larger piece is not signed but is obviously of the same pattern. There is a protective bag for the smaller piece that has an embroidered tag saying Baltimore Co. Fifth Avenue. Both pieces are in great preowned vintage condition and were well protected. The smaller piece has very light scratching on the bottom and one small little chip on one outside corner that only shows with a very close inspection. The larger piece has a few flea bites or small surface chips (approximately ten total) but is not excessive for age or type of piece. and some scratching on the base that is surface level but that does show when inspecting without magnification. Nothing major at all. No other chips, cracks, stains, scratches or repairs. Upon regular viewing, this is a gorgeous set and the light really picks up the cut. With the exception of the light scratching on the base of the larger piece, other damages only viewable pun much closer inspection. It really is a nice condition set. Images of the individual pieces show first the large and then the smaller piece. Please see the last three pictures for close-ups. These pictures will show level of wear. The third (large tray) and second (smaller) image from the end shows the bottoms . The very last piece shows the worst of the small chips for both pieces with the top and bottom corner of the large piece on the left having small chips and the center corner of the small piece on the right having a small chip. We believe you would agree with us that the smaller imperfections do not take away from the overall beauty of this lustrous set.
