This is a hardcover book with a dust jacket, Cooking for Christmas - A Cook's Countdown to Planning the Perfect Christmas by Linda Doeser (2004). It is a British book, published by Parragon in the UK, so many of the recipes are more in the English Christmas tradition (plum pudding, Christmas cake and poached salmon, for example). There are plenty of wonderful recipes that fit into the American tradition as well, though (roasted turkey, glazed ham, gingerbread men, etc). Also included is a wonderful "Festive Season" timetable. The holiday countdown starts in September and continues through December; for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after it breaks the days down in detail for morning, afternoon and evening. It even follows through with recipes for after-Christmas leftovers. It's beautifully illustrated and will surely be a guide you'll enjoy revisiting every year. Condition is excellent.
