1930's/40's German Army Or Sports Club Five and 50 similar items

Vintage photos of German or possibly Austrian weightlifting team. About 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" each, wallet size but not trimmed to the same exact size each. Notations on the back for several including dates and appear to be from 1938 to 1944. Two on Agfa Lupex paper. Good to Very Good condition. You can see what look like Army officers in the background in one. We would expect these men would have to have been in the military and they are clearly some kind of competition team. Clockwise from top left we see what looks like an official team photo from 1938 and the location is given but I can't make it out. Next the one from 1944 showing them relaxing in a field. Then two with individuals training, and finally a few cavorting in what might be an old mill pond and that one has a photo shop notation on the reverse. Historic, possibly amusing and whatever else you want to make of them.
