Item description
(Internal #G160-203) You are bidding on a necklace made with one 2-3/8" genuine alligator tooth, drilled and mounted on a 20" black and white cow bovine bone bead necklace; barrel twist clasp closure.
We make these necklaces ourselves and recommend them for their unique designs and high quality of products. A great gift to the gator lover or to yourself!
STOCK PHOTO.
Gators are raised on farms in Louisiana. The hides are sold for leather products, the meat is eaten locally or prepared as jerky, the guts go into the cat and dog food industry ("animal byproducts") and the heads and feet (freeze dried and coated in polyurethane) and teeth are sold to commercial stores. Gators have three sets of teeth, one inside the other (like Tupperware) that's why they're hollow; teeth are shed periodically.
