This is for an extremely rare vintage Porsche Design antenna made in collaboration with Sirtel of Italy. This was made back when Porsche Design co-branded their items with other major high-end manufacturers.
The mounting base is angled for use on a sloping roof or a deck lid. The rubber base can be shimmed for mounting on a flat surface. Very "Cyber Tech" looking. They put a series of 180' bends in the antenna and passed them through a small disk to make an array. The bends make the antenna shorter overall while still retaining the total engineered length. I've never seen another one of these antennas.
This is also a two-piece antenna so you can unscrew the upper section for washing the car, service, etc. This is very well made of solid brass and stainless steel.
