Item description
Antique 835 Silver Austria WK Marked Tie Bar Clip Textured Check STAMPED.
This is a pure antique silver tie bar featuring pre-1922 marks from Austria on it. It has a 3 stamp indicating a purity of .835 so it?s not as soft as typical sterling. It measures 2.5 inches long with a taught clip on the back at 2.25 inches. See photos for details.
I have it a bit of a cleaning to make the marks more visible but it?s clear that this was abandoned for a while and left to gather dust (or worse). It could use a more formal cleaning but given its age, the patina also suits it well. I?ll leave that up to the future buyer.
