You are buying this Beautiful 1963 Smith Corona Sterling Typewriter With the original manual and the tag in original carrying case. I tested the key and it does work. I am a one finger typer and it kept up with me. My husband is a better typist and a few of the keys did stick just a little.You may want to have it cleaned so the keys do not stick. Overall it is the cleanest typewriter I have come across. The case is in good condition with minimal wear such as scratches and discolorations . No noticeable dents .Email any questions. All of our items come from a Non Smoking home. Comes with one used original very old ink ribbon. You will need to get new ink ribbon in order to use this typewriter. Thank you
