Utley/ University of Texas Press, ISBN #0-292-73865-X, First Printing, copyright 1990/ Watercolors recreate the barracks, schools, churches, stores, and officers' quarters that were a part of old Texas forts, and are accompanied by brief histories of the ten forts depicted. The following forts are presented: Fort Brown, Ringgold Barracks, Fort McIntosh, Fort McKavett, Fort Lancaster, Fort Richardson, Fort Griffin, Fort Concho, Fort Davis, and Fort Bliss. Artist's Notes and the Introduction precede the chapters on the forts.
The book is complete and in VERY GOOD condition with some overall wear.
