For sale is an antique tureen or soup bowl. This piece is especially rare because the pattern - Regal - is usually blue and white. But this piece is a reddish pink color! So unual! It's oval shaped, measuring 12 inches from handle to handle. The opening for the soup measures about 8 inches. The item stands 5 inches tall. The edges are scalloped and gold gilded, as is the stand. This serving dish was clearly present at many parties and family dinners. While there are no chips, there are two places where the dish appears to have glued back together. The gold gilding is faded or worn off in some places, and there are some brown spots.
