The Prayer at Valley Forge needs a new home. This is professionally framed and matted. The matte has a beautiful leather texture. There are few bumps and scuffs here and there but as shown there is nothing that distracts. Great image, great coloring and composition. The artist lived to see his original painting displayed as the centerpiece of many public events. Today the original can be found in The Museum of the American Revolution in Valley Forge, PA. Friberg passed away in 2010 and his work continues to get attention. Larger pieces like this one are harder to find now.
