Large Talavera La Maceta Terra Cotta Pottery Bowl Multicolored Oval Mexico 15?W. This is a large (but light in weight for it?s size) handled, oval bowl, handmade in Mexico. It is decorated in bright colors of blues, greens, deep reds, and earthy yellows. The background white has a single coat, allowing the red clay to come through. It is in excellent, pre owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs noted. No crazing to the glaze. As it was handmade, there are glaze drips and imperfection in the painted design. Please see all photos for detail of condition. The base is hand signed, "H. En Mex. (or Hecho en Mexico-Made in Mexico) La Maceta 30".
